REAL MADRID WILL NOT PLAY THEIR REMAINING LA LIGA HOME GAMES AT THE SANTIAGO BERNABEU

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez Rodríguez confirmed on Monday 1st June, 2020 that the Spanish giants will not play their remaining home fixtures at the Santiago Bernabeu when La Liga resumes later in this month.

The 13-time European champions will instead finish the 2019-20 campaign at their training complex.

 

Spain’s La Liga will resume on 11 June, 2020 with The Seville derby (Real Betis vs Sevilla).

Los Blancos’ remaining six home fixtures will take place at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium at Valdebebas. (14/06/20 at 18:30 Real Madrid vs Eibar, 18/06/20 at 21:00 Real Madrid vs Valencia, 24/06/20 at 19:00 Real Madrid vs Mallorca, 01/07/20 at 19:00 Real Madrid vs Getafe, 08/07/20 at 19:00 Real Madrid vs Alaves and 15/07/20 at 19:00 Real Madrid vs Villarreal)

The Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano is a multi-purpose stadium in Madrid, Spain which was named after former Real Madrid footballer Alfredo di Stéfano, the stadium is currently the home of Real Madrid’s reserve team (Real Madrid Castilla).

 

Alfredo Stéfano Di Stéfano Laulhé was an Argentine professional footballer and coach. He is regarded as one of the best footballers of all time and best known for his achievements with Real Madrid, where he was instrumental in the club’s domination of the European Cup and La Liga during the 1950s.
