‘I AM NOT PERMITTED TO TAKE UP CEO ROLE AT ASANTE KOTOKO NOW’. – FORMER GHANA FA VICE PRESIDENT GEORGE AFRIYIE

Former Ghana FA Vice President George Afriyie has denied interest in taking over the vacant Chief Executive Officer role at Asante Kotoko for the mean time.

Ghana FA Executive Committee member George Amoakoh led a team to dissolve the immediate past management team.

Both George Afriyie and Phar Rangers CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah have been heavily linked to the role but George stated earlier today that he has currently taken up a commitment which would not permit him to take up the role despite his love for the club, the life patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and board chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei.
