22 ladies believed to be lesbians have been arrested at Kwahu in the Eastern Region during a wedding ceremony.
The Police and traditional authorities of the area, got a hint of a ceremony going at Kwahu so they got there as soon as they can. They had the chance to arrest 22 of the ladies whiles 8 flee.
The police however were forced to release them all because they didn’t have a female cell block at their station.
The Chief of Obomeng, Nana Effah Opinamang III said they heard rumours that a lesbian wedding was going to be held and mobilised the security team to the location to arrest the participants.
